About us
The Town of Elmer City was incorporated in 1947 and operates under the laws of the state of Washington applicable to a Council-Mayor form of government. The Town of Elmer City is a general-purpose local government and provides water and sewer services, street lighting and street improvements, and general administrative services.

Sam Seaton's Ferry, which crossed the Columbia River at the spot on which the base of Grand Coulee Dam rests today. Seatons' Ferry was used long before construction of the dam.
